Romantic Singer-Songwriter Releases New Album Of Romantic Songs In Time For Valentine

SINGER-SONGWRITER David Pomeranz is back in Manila to launch a new album. Best known for romantic songs like “Love is All that Matters”, “King and Queen of Hearts”, “If You Walk Away”, “Got to Believe in Magic” and “Don’t Give Up on Us”, he now releases his latest album that is a collection of great pop songs that he wished he himself had written. It has a total of 11 cover versions: Chicago’s “You’re the Inspiration” (the title song), Rod Stewart’s “Have I Told You Lately”, Survivor’s “The Search is Over”, Toto’s “I’ll Be Over You”, Kenny Rankin’s “What Matters Most”, Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us”, “To be With You”, “Now and Forever”, “As Long as You Love Me” and “These Dreams”.

How did he choose the songs included in the album? “I actually chose many more songs but I asked friends which ones they think Filipinos will like more and these are what they picked. Filipinos’ love for romantic songs is just amazing and they’ve been my inspiration while working on this album which is meant for all the hopeless romantics out there, especially this Valentine season. This will be a perfect gift to you loved one.”
