New Super Villains Will Make Derek Ramsay'S Life In 'Kidlat' More Action-Packed

DEREK RAMSAY says he knows “Kidlat” is rating well because everywhere he goes, people no longer call him Derek but Kidlat. “Nagulat ako kasi even in a remote area in Palawan, the kids call me Kidlat,” he says.

“Kidlat” becomes more exciting with the introduction of new villains that will make Derek’s life more action-filled, along with Wendell Ramos as Graba Man and Baron Geisler as Vincent Megaton. The first ones are the twins, Frosta and Fuego, played by Artista Academy discoveries Shaira Mae representing Ice and Mark Neumann representing Fire. They have the power to turn people and surroundings into ice or set them on fire.

“I feel so lucky na for our first regular show, nasama kami sa isang hit action-fantasy like ‘Kidlat’ na marami talagang nanonood,” says Shaira.

“And we’re so glad kasi ang bait-bait sa amin ni Kuya Derek kahit kaaway niya kami in the story,” adds Mark. “He even acts as our mentor.”

Another new opponent is Paolo Ballesteros in drag as Warla. He looks every inch a woman but he has unusual strength he got from a magic stone. Still another new adversary is Enigma, played by Valerie Weigman. She’s a fashion designer who has telekinetic powers and knows dark magic. “Kidlat” is seen on TV5 weekdays at 6:45 PM.
