Max Collins Has No Complaints About Allegation That Lorna Tolentino Eats Her Alive In 'Pahiram Ng Sandali'

WHAT CAN Max Collins say to the observation of one writer who says “nilalamon ni Lorna Tolentino si Max sa mga eksena nila sa ‘Pahiram ng Sandali’”? “Well, mas nakakagulat siguro kung sinabing nilalamon ko si Miss LT, di ba?” she jokes. “Okay lang yun. She has won so many awards, I’m just starting, but I’m really trying my best na hindi ako mapag-iwanan sa show and I’m encouraged na marami rin namang nagkakagusto sa performance ko. I guess you just can’t please everyone and that’s just fine. But I will treasure my experience in ‘Pahiram ng Sandali’ as I learned so much from Ms. LT and Tito Christopher de Leon as my parents, and also from Dingdong Dantes and Alessandra de Rossi. I not only learned about the craft of acting but also about how to be very professional in this business.”

She’s currently being linked to Benjamin Alves with whom she was paired in “Coffee Prince” but she swears she’s loveless this Valentine’s Day. “It’s the least of my priorities. Ngayon pa lang ako nabibigyan ng big breaks, so dito muna ang focus ko.”

New GMA actor Pancho Magno is open in saying he’s got a big crush on her. “I’m flattered, but shocked, kasi we haven’t even been introduced to each other. I do hope to meet him someday.”

Is there a chance of her also having a crush on him? “Like I said, we haven’t met. Importante sa’kin ang personality, especially kung funny siya as I like guys with a good sense of humor. But honestly, I prefer guys na non-showbiz para hindi magulo. My past boyfriends, puro wala sa showbiz kaya mas tahimik.”

How’s it working with their director, Maryo J. de los Reyes? “Very exciting as he challenged me to push myself to the limits. I don’t think I’d have been effective in my role as Cindy without him motivating me and guiding me lalo na in our scenes in the last few days na puro iyakan dahil namatay ang dad ko and I hate my mom. Nauubos ang luha namin sa mga eksena ng iyakan. I become hysterical upon seeing my dad lifeless. Palalayasin ko ang mom ko as I blame her having an affair with Dingdong as being the cause of my dad’s death. Mas kumampi ako sa other woman ng dad ko, si Alex de Rossi as Baby. Dingdong is imprisoned and there’s an investigation kung ano talaga nangyari’t namatay ang ama ko. Kami ni Alex ang namahala sa burol ng dad ko and during the wake, dalawa sila ng mom ko who accept the guests at nagtatarayan sila kaya pinagpipistahan sila ng press.”
