'Master Chef Pinoy Edition' Will Hold Its Finals This Saturday Morning At Sm Skydome

“MASTER CHEF Pinoy Edition” is ending this Saturday and the four remaining finalists were presented to the press: Carla Marcaida, Ivory Yat, JR Royol and Myra Santos.

Carla is the eldest at 40. The Negosyante Kusinera of Bulacan who married young plans to put up a bake shop if she’d win the P1 million prize. Ivory is the Fashionistang Kusinera ng QC. A nurse, she’s the most bubbly finalist who looks like Cai Cortez, the daughter of Rez Cortez. She broke up with her BF of 8 years when he went to the U.S.

JR is the Rakistang Kusinera ng Benguet. The vocalist of the Israfel Band, he has a 3-year old son with an ex-partner and has a new GF he plans to treat to a grand wedding if he’d win. Myra Santos is the Kusinerang Accountant from Muntinlupa who plans to go full blast into cooking and put up a resto if she’d win.

They will face their final cooking challenge in MasterChef Pinoy Edition: The Live Cook-off this Saturday (Feb 9), 10 AM at the SM North Edsa Skydome. Judges will be host Judy Ann Santos, Chef Ferns, Chef Lau, and Chef Jayps, plus Kris Aquino and Richard Gomez who will be sampling their dishes live and decide who deserves to win the title.

Even if they’re rivals, they consider each other good friends and will treasure the valuable experiences they gained during the past few months that they’re all holed up together as Master Chef contestants. Aside from the P1 million cash from Clara Oil, the winner also wins a kitchen showcase from Whirlpool and a Diploma Program for Professional Culinary Arts scholarship at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies. The second, third, and fourth placers will win P500,000, P300,000, and P200,000 respectively.
