Christopher De Leon's Daughter Mariel A Contestant In This Year'S Bb. Pilipinas

AFTER HIS youngest son, Gabriel or Gab, joined showbiz via GMA-7’s youth oriented Sunday show, “Teen Gen”, Christopher de Leon’s daughter, Mariel, now joins the Bb. Pilipinas pageant. “Tapos na naman sila ng college so okay lang,” says the Batangas senior provincial board member who’ll be running for congress in the May elections. “Si Gab, sa St. Benilde nag-aral. Si Mariel, sa New Zealand, where her eldest brother Santino now lives. E, gusto rin niyang maging model, so sabi ko, sige. Tapos, may kumuhang isali siya sa Bb. Pilipinas. Kaya naman daw niya, di go. Gusto niya, manood ako ng pageant night. Sabi ko, naku, baka di ko kayanin.”

He’s both in TV5’s “Kidlat” and GMA-7’s “Pahiram ng Sandali”. “But patapos na exposure ko kasi nga bawal na kong mapanood sa TV come the campaign period.”

In “Pahiram ng Sandali”, Boyet plays Philip, whose wife Lorna Tolentino as Janice and mistress Alex de Rossi as Baby have an intense confrontation scene. Lorna wants to hurt Alex but Alex tells her she’s pregnant with Philip’s baby. Lorna’s daughter, Max Collins as Cindy, sides with Baby, saying her dad’s mistress is more loyal to him than her own mom who had an affair with Dingdong Dantes as Alex. Philip confronts Alex in the parking lot and tries to hit him but he trips and falls. His head hits a pipe and bleeds. He’s taken to the hospital and the doctor says he needs to be operated on. He falls into a coma. Alex is blamed for what happened to him even if it’s actually an accident. Will he still be revived or will he die?
