I play a good role as a courageous broadcast journalist who’s up against a corrupt warlord politician, played by Joel Torre. It’s Direk Yani himself who offered me the lead role after I attended one of his acting workshops. Although first directorial job niya yun, hindi siya mukhang baguhan kundi parang sanay na sanay na siya sa padidirek.”

Is she still willing to play supporting roles now that she has appeared in a lead role? “Oo naman, lalo na kung ang susuportahan ko are great actresses like Lorna Tolentino. I really want to work with her.”
