Alice Dixson Admits She Has Split From Her Husband Due To Irreconcilable Differences

ALICE DIXSON implores before saying anything at the presscon of “Never Say Goodbye” that starts airing this Monday on TV5: “Please be kind to me.” This is because she has finally admitted that she’s now separated from Canada-based husband Ronnie Miranda. They got married in civil rites when she was 31 and he was 37. She’s now 43.

Is there a third party involved? “None. It’s really just a case of irreconcilable differences. We tried hard to make it work, but sadly it didn’t. It’s a mutual decision. Our divorce has been filed and we’re waiting for the court’s decision. We have managed to remain friends naman.”

Is she ready to fall in love again? “I don’t want to grow old alone but at this point, I’m not ready yet to get into another relationship.”

The title of her new show is “Never Say Goodbye”. Does it apply to her? “It’s hard to say goodbye at at some point, you have to learn how to say it and move on.”

We heard she’s playing a villain role in it as Criselda? “Yes, people will hate me dahil sobrang sama ko rito, very manipulative. I steal Cesar Montano from Nora Aunor. Binili ko siya dahil super rich ako, at nagpabili naman siya. When Direk Mac Alejandre offered me the role, he explained to me his vision for the whole project. In the end, you’d hate Criselda but eventually, you’ll understand where she’s coming from. It’s all about her love, her passion for Javier, Cesar’s character, that becomes an obsession.”

In the flashback scenes, Ate Guy is played by Eula Caballero, Cesar by Martin Escudero, Gardo Versoza by Alwyn Uytingco and she by Charee Pineda. We notice there’s an uncanny resemblance between her and Charee. “That’s true. When I saw her, she’s so pretty, sabi ko, bagay nga siya to play me 20 years ago.”
