Denise Laurel Doesn'T Mind Even If She'S The Nth Choice As Cesar Montano'S Wife In 'Turning Cradle'

DENISE LAUREL feels honoured and lucky to be chosen as the leading lady of Cesar Montano in “The Turning Cradle: The Untold Story of Alfredo Lim”. She knows several other actresses were considered before her. First was Ann Curtis, then Cristine Reyes, Solenn Heussaff , Jennylyn Mercado, Rhian Ramos, but all of them cannot commit to the project as they’re doing other movies and TV shows. Finally Denise Laurel was selected and she’s so excited to be part of the film.

“I don’t mind being the nth choice as I know Cesar Montano is not just a good actor but also a very good director,” she says. “I’m sure I will learn a lot from the experience of working with him.”

Filming started on Nov. 26. Playdate is February, 2013. Buboy leaves for the US for a planned trip Dec. 1-12 with wife Sunshine Cruz to watch Manny Pacquiao fight. Shooting resumes when he gets back. Buboy will be shuffling time shooting this and taping for TV5’s new soap, “Never Say Goodbye” with Nora Aunor and Alice Dixson. He is also part of the filmfest entry “El Presidente” as Andres Bonifacio.
