Max Collins Replaces Kylie Padilla Opposite Dingdong Dantes In 'Hiram Na Sandali'

MAX COLLINS, who used to be known as Isabel Abiera when she was with ABS-CBN, told us during the presscon of “Coffee Prince” that she’s so happy to be on a primetime show. She plays the second lead as Arlene, ex-GF of Aljur Abrenica. “Sana, sa susunod, lead naman ako,” she wished.

Well, her prayers are answered as she’s just been tapped to replace Kylie Padilla in “Hiram na Sandali”, where she plays the daughter of Lorna Tolentino who becomes her mom’s own rival over Dingdong Dantes.

“I couldn’t believe it when my manager, Perry Lansigan, informed me about it,” she says. “I was so shocked naiyak ako. Hindi ko akalaing kasama rin ako sa show na papalit sa ‘Coffee Prince’ and I welcome the challenge of working with Tita Lorna, Tita Christopher de Leon, Tita Sandy Andolong and with Dingdong Dantes na dream come true for me na makapareha siya. This is a great blessing and I want to thank Direk Maryo de los Reyes for choosing me to play the role.”

She can now say that she really made the right decision when she left ABS-CBN to start her career anew on GMA-7.
