Martin Escudero Joins Call For The Preservation Of Mother Nature

MARTIN ESCUDERO feels privileged to be in a show that calls for the preservation of Mother Nature, “Enchanted Garden”. “At this time that we encounter global warming and weather disturbances, we should all help in planting more trees to balance our ecology,” he says as he help out in the tree-planting activity sponsored by TV5 at Roosevelt Forest Park where they also tape the show. “Being in a show like this helped in making me more conscious of how we can help protect the environment. Ako dati, tapon dito, tapon doon. Now, I’m more careful about disposing waste.”

Aside from “Enchanted Garden”, Mart is glad that TV5 also gave him the fantasy-comedy, “Kapitan Awesome”, which is now on its third season. “It has its loyal followers every weekend,” he says.

What about a new indie movie after he won best actor in “Zombadings”? “I’ve just finished a new indie film, ‘Musiko’, about the life of musicians who form a brass band that play in fiestas. Kasama ko rito sina Tommy Abuel and Melai Cantiveros. I am also now shooting ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll 14’ for Regal na entry sa December filmfest directed by Chito Rono. I’m in the ‘Lost Command’ episode with Dennis Trillo.”
