ANDI EIGENMANN’S daughter Adriana Gabrielle or Ellie will celebrate her first birthday this coming November. Will she invite the dad, Albie Casino, if he’d attend the party? “No, I won’t invite him but if he’d come, alangan namang we’ll drive him away,” she says. “After all, he’s still Ellie’s dad. But I don’t think he’d come kasi ayaw naman nilang makisali ng family niya. Kung ayaw nila, hindi naman namin sila pinipilit. I’ve already shown I can raise our child by myself. Being a mom has made me more mature in my ways of thinking. I now have more responsibility in my hands. My fear is that Ellie might grow up without really knowing me so I sometimes take her to work para naman I can play with her in between takes sa taping or shooting. Pag-uwi ko naman ng bahay at gising pa siya, I also play with her kahit pagod na ako para naman di niya ko basta makalimutan. It’s hard to be a working single mom but I think I can manage with the help of my mom (Jaclyn Jose).”
She says her baby is the reason why she agreed to do a more mature role in “A Secret Affair” that opens on October 24, even having a torrid love scene with Derek Ramsay.
“Grabe talagang love scene namin. Even I didn’t think makakaya kong gawin yun. I cried nga sa shooting as I was so scared. I’d like to thank Derek kasi he’s patient with me at siya ang nagdala sa eksena as he knows it’s my first time to do such a daring scene. Even Anne Curtis said that after she saw that scene, she was motivated na hindi siya patatalbog sa love scene din nila ni Derek. I should also thank Direk Nuel Naval for handling the scene so tastefully. Hindi naman bastos o malaswa ang dating. I just hope viewers won’t judge me as malandi because of my performance in this movie na nang-aagaw ng boyfriend. I’m just playing a role and I want to show I’m a good actress.”
