He’s in “Makapiling Kang Muli” and he’s lucky that even before it ends, GMA-7 already assigned him to play the male lead in “Aso ni San Roque” that starts airing on September 10. “Oo nga, and I’m thankful to GMA. Nag-overlap nga ang taping ng two shows. I should really work harder ngayong may anak na ako.”
He plays a cop in “Aso ni San Roque”. “This is my second time to play a policeman kasi pulis din ako sa ‘The Road’. LJ Reyes is my first girlfriend here pero biglang nawala siya. Di ko alam, the aswangs led by Gardo Versoza got her. Then I meet Rich Asuncion, a TV reporter, who becomes my new girlfriend. First time to work with both LJ and Rich and they’re both great.”
San Roque’s dog is played by Princess, the same dog in the award winning film, “Bwakaw”. “I have scenes with her and she’s a very well trained dog. She takes the orders of Direk Don Michael Perez well. Hindi kami nahirapan at all with her. Mas nahirapan kami sa special effects dito with the aswangs, led by Gardo Versoza, Paolo Contis, Angelika de la Cruz and Gwen Zamora.”
