“Sayang-saya sila to see their brother,” she says. “Pati si Michelle (Van Eimeren, Ogie’s ex) who’s Nate’s ninang. She bought Nate lots of clothes and toys. Nagpakitang-gilas naman si Nate sa mga Ate niya. Tawa nang tawa. Tumumbling pa. At tuwang-tuwa siya kay Michelle. Na-in love. Ngayon lang kasi nakakita ng blonde. It’s one of our best vacations ever.”
“Sarap Diva” starts airing this Saturday at 10:45 AM before “Eat Bulaga”. So she’d compete with Chef Boy Logro’s “Kusina Master”? “No, institusyon na ‘yun, I’m not really a cook naman. Nag-start lang ako to cook when we’re married na. Nagpapa-impress kay Ogie. So I’ll have guest na chef to teach me how to cook. First guest ko nga is Chef Boy Logro himself. I’ll also have mommies and other experts as guests para turuan ako about mommy things. Like ngayon, malapit na first birthday ni Nate, so they’ll teach me on how to put up a children’s party. Kasama rin si Nate sa show, my pet dog George and my brother in law, Raul Mitra, who’ll accompany me when I sing.”
This is her third hosting job after “Party Pilipinas” and “HOT TV”. How about a soap? “Naku, okay na muna ang hosting at mas madaling gawin, unlike soaps na magdamagan ang taping. Pag malaki na siguro ang anak ko. But I’m happy kasi ang ganda ng feedback sa movie namin ni Aga Muhlach, ‘Of All the Things’. Everyone tells me they find it so entertaining at natutuwa sila. They like the climax na ako pang lumuhod and proposes marriage to Aga with a ring. Tawa raw sila nang tawa.”
