Phillip has Ruru Madrid and then got Arny Ross, who Director Bert de Leon said has much sex appeal but lacks acting, so she has to be taught acting well for her to “be one of our better character actresses.”
Personally, we think the girls have much better potential to make it big than the boys, particularly Thea, Elle, Arny and Zandra. It’s the boys who mostly lack lead star quality and qualify more as character actors.
