Kris Bernal To Play The Role Of A Man In 'Coffee Prince' Remake

THE KOREANOVELA “Coffee Prince” was one of the highest-rating GMA shows in 2008. Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal are now elated to be the stars of its local version since they know the original has a huge following. This is their sixth show together after “Dyesebel”, “Luna Mystika”, “All My Life”, “Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?” and “The Last Prince.”

“Excited kaming dalawa kasi first romantic-comedy namin itong ‘Coffee Prince’,” says Kris. “Magpapanggap akong isang lalaki rito kaya dapat abangan kung gaano kaguwapo si Kris Bernal kapag naging lalaki.”

Aljur, on the other hand, couldn’t be any happier to reignite his onscreen chemistry with Kris. “Yung pinagsamahan namin walang kapantay at kung ikukumpara sa iba, malaking bagay 'yung Kris Bernal sa buhay ni Aljur. Ganu'n kalalim ang relasyon namin."

Supporting them are Tessie Tomas, Leo Martinez, Ronnie Henares, Ces Quesada, Celia Rodriguez, Boy2 Quizon, Steven Silva, Fabio Ide, Sef Cadayona, Kim Komatsu. Introducing are Max Collins and Benjamin Alves in their very first primetime show, helmed by Ricky Davao.
