Kim Chiu On Xian Lim, Maja Salvador & Their New Show 'Ina Kapatid Anak'

THE KIM CHIU-Xian Lim love team hit it big with fans in “Binondo Girl”. They’re now reunited in “Ina Kapatid Anak” and Kim’s role here is the total opposite of her role in “Binondo Girl”.

“As Celine, I’m a poor girl here who lives in the slums pero go-getter sa buhay at sobrang maabilidad as she wants to get rich to give her downtrodden family na walang makain a much better life,” she says. “Maingay ako rito, bungangera, kanto girl ang dating. It’s a big challenge for me kasi everyone knows shy and quiet ako in real life, not a loud person. Si Xian naman is playing Liam, a more mature character din compared to his ‘Binondo Girl’ role. Pero mayaman pa rin siya rito and we come from two different worlds. Another thing sa ‘Ina Kapatid Anak’, kasama ko si Maja Salvador who plays Margaux. Magkaaway kami rito, but off cam, we’re the best of friends. We have the same tent sa taping at magandang bonding namin.”

What about her and Xian? Have they become close this time? “Given na yun, kasi nga lagi kaming nagkikita sa taping. Three times a week ang taping namin, e. Sa mga eksena namin, nagpapaturo pa siya sa’kin kung anong gagawin namin dahil kinakabahan daw siya sa’kin. We’re okay, still getting to know each other better.”
