Jennylyn Mercado Denies She Caused The Breakup Of Paolo Contis And Lian Paz

JENNYLYN MERCADO is surprised that some folks say she’s the third party who caused the breakup of Paolo Contis and Lian Paz. “I really don’t know why nadawit ako diyan,” she says. “I texted Paolo and told him linisin niyang name ko. I last worked with him in ‘Futbolilits’ and since then, ang tagal na noon, di na kami nagkita. I’m happy with Luis (Manzano) but meron yatang mga taong gusto kaming pag-awayin.”

Paolo is back from co-hosting “Manny’s Many Prizes” in the U.S. and he’s back to work taping for “Aso ni San Roque” where he plays a kapre. He said he really feels bad that innocent people are being dragged into the issue of his split up with Lian.

“Sana huwag na lang mandamay ng ibang tao kasi nakakahiya sa kanila,” he says. “What happened is between just me and Lian kaya huwag nang isangkot ang mga walang kinalaman.”

As for Jen, she’s happy that there will be a reversal in the character she plays in “Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa”, Elise. “Mula sa pagiging mahirap at inaapi-api, yayaman na ako at makakabawi ako sa mga nagpapahirap sa’kin na sina Angelu de Leon and Saab Magalona,” she says. “Abangan nyo ang aking sweet revenge.”
