John Lloyd Cruz Admits Having An Affair With A Woman Already Committed To Someone Else

JOHN LLOYD Cruz plays a man in love with the other woman (Bea Alonzo) of a married man (Ronaldo Valdez) in “The Mistress”. In real life, has he ever experienced sharing a girl with another guy?

“Yes, at one point in my life,” he candidly admits, “I was in my early 20s nang pumayag akong maging number 2 ng isang babae who already loves someone else. The feeling was so strong, I couldn’t contain it and I just let it took over me. Mahirap yung sitwasyon and it was quite a struggle kasi alam mo na at the onset na mali. Mali talaga. Pero lagi ko ngang sinasabi, eh, you can’t argue with love. But I realized later that it was only infatuation on my part and she did not deserve to be in that kind of situation.”

Of course, Lloydie won’t reveal who the woman is so writers made their own speculations about her identity. Their conclusion is that she’s an actress, much older than him, with whom he got to work in a soap before. Lloydie also won’t share anything about him and his current rumored inamorata, Angelica Panganiban, even if he already posted their pictures together on the net calling it a “Perfect Sunday”. He just said it’s not yet the time for him to talk about it. He’d rather talk about his movie with Bea, “The Mistress”, saying it’s the perfect way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their love team that started in the 2002 soap “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay”.

“Dito ko na-realized that we’ve really come a long way as a love team and we’d both like to thank all the people who supported our movies and TV shows through the years,” he adds.
