NO DOUBT Enrique Gil is one of the most promising young Kapamilya young actors today. Discovered and managed by Carlo Orosa, Enrique’s star shone when he was cast with Gerald Anderson in “Budoy”. Now, he’s with Kathryn Bernardo in “Princess and I’ and stars in three new movies. He’s paired with Julia Montes in “The Reunion” (their second movie after “Way Back Home”) and is also in the psychological horror flick, “Amorosa”, with Angel Aquino and Empress. He’ll also be reunited with Julia in the Metro-Manila filmfest entry, “The Strangers”, where they’ll play a mysterious brother and sister who moves into a town where gruesome murders soon happen. Because he’s so busy now, he hardly has time to go home to his native Cebu.
What can he say now that the Kathryn-Daniel Padilla love team seems to have more fans than his own pairing with Kathryn who was paired with him earlier? “Okay lang. Siguro the fans really feel na silang bagay magkasama. Mas closer ang age nila sa isa’t isa kaya mas bagay ang team up nila. Ako kasi, 20 na. Sila both teenagers pa. Basta ako, steady lang ako. I’m glad tinatanggap ako ng tao kahit solo flight ako’t walang ka-love team.”
