    THE FIRST YAHOO OMG Awards was held recently at SM MOA. It’s ironic that although it’s hosted by Kapuso stars Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza and Raymond Gutierrez, the winners are mostly Kapamilya stars.     Derek S. Lorenzo, PLDT MyDSL’s very own overnight sensation via his lovestruck “Anna Banana” Youtube video which generated over a million hits and trended for days.

    Being a kid celebrity himself with over 1.6 million views for his Anna Banana PLDT MyDSL Youtube channel, it was fitting that Derek be the one chosen to award this year’s winner in that category.

    Derek had a grand time rubbing elbows with top stars and took the opportunity to thank his parents, recognizing that every bit of success he experienced would not be possible without them.

    “My family’s support is proof that the strongest connections can make any kid’s dream come true,” he beams as he had his fotos taken with Lovi Poe, John Estrada and Raymond Gutierrez.
