TV5 Launches First Eco-Fantaserye, 'Enchanted Garden', On July 16

AFTER ‘VALIENTE’, TV5 will show the very first eco-fantaserye on TV, “Enchanted Garden”. Executive producer Edlyn Tanada says the title refers to a parallel world called Eden where watchmen of our environment called Bantays live.

“This is led by Queen Jasmina, Marita Zobel, who has three daughters called Diwanis: Alice Dixson, Rufa Mae Quinto and Ruffa Gutierrez as Diwani Valeriana. Ruffa and Alice will compete for the affection of Menandro, Zoren Legaspi. Ruffa seduces Zoren with the help of an evil tree. Zoren is possessed and Ruffa herself becomes an evil Diwani. Zoren can be saved only by someone who has the same blood as his, but there’s no one else in their kingdom until it’s discovered that Alice is pregnant with Zoren’s child. Ruffa wants the child killed but Rufa Mae rescues it and takes it to the mortal world. She’s a girl who’ll grow up to be Alex Gonzaga. It’s Luz Valdes who rears her along with her daughter, Gladys Reyes, and her husband Christopher Rojas. Alex’ childhood friend is Martin Escudero. Ruffa sends a ‘kawal’, Edgar Allan Guzman, to the mortal world to look for Alex to kill her. The series starts airing on July 16 and is directed by Joel Lamangan, Eric Quizon, with the help of Joyce Bernal.”
