Rufa Mae Quinto Is Absent While Ruffa Gutierrez Escapes From Tv5 Presscon

AT THE TV5 launch, Rufa Mae Quinto was absent when the cast of “Enchanted Garden” was presented. “She purposely avoided the press,” says one writer. “Ang dami kasing issues about her like why she left ‘Wiltime Bigtime’, why she broke up with Boy2 Quizon and if it’s true that she’s persona non grata in the U.S. because the house in California that she claimed to be hers turned out be in the name of a controversial politician. Obvious na ayaw matanong about these things.”

Right after the presscon, we were looking for Ruffa Gutierrez but we were told: “Tumakas na po.” Apparently, she also doesn’t want to be interviewed about the current controversy involving her mom at Dolphy’s wake. But to our amazement, Alice Dixson and Zoren Legaspi also left in a hurry. “Wala namang issues about them, bakit sila tumakas?” asked one writer.

Zoren’s manager, Manny Valera, was himself surprised. “Ni hindi man lang nagpaalam, e may kontrata pa siyang pipirmahan, o. Dala-dala ko.”

Among the TV5 stars in the presscon, only Lorna T, BB Gandanghari, Eula C, Alex G and Martin E have the decency to stay and talk to the press. Some of the TV5 execs feel sad that Ruffa and the other stars left when they held the launch precisely for them to be interviewed by the press about their new shows.
