Regine Velasquez Makes A Comeback Via New Tv Show And Movie With Aga Muhlach

REGINE VELASQUEZ is ready to return in front of the camera now that she has lost some 30 lbs. She has resumed shooting her Viva movie with Aga Muhlach, “Of All the Things”, directed by Joyce Bernal. It’s been gathering dust for two years now due to scheduling problems. But they previewed the rushes of all the scenes they shot before and everyone agreed that it’s too good a movie to just be shelved permanently.

Regine is also all set to start hosting “Hot TV”, the new showbiz-oriented Sunday afternoon talk show that will replace “Showbiz Central” on GMA-7 starting August 5. She had her pictorial with her co-hosts Raymond Gutierrez, Jennylyn Mercado and Roderick Paulate last Monday. The show has a new concept different from the usual showbiz chismis talk shows so Regine didn’t hesitate to accept it. She also prefers hosting this kind of show as it will not take away much of her time from her son, Baby Nate.

Obviously, GMA-7 loves Roderick Paulate so much and doesn’t believe that he’s guilty of the rumors of having ghost employees that resulted in the Ombudsman’s recommendation for his suspension as QC councilor. Aside from “Hot TV”, Dick is also seen in the sitcom “Tweets for My Sweet” and is also one of the mentors in “Protege: Battle for the Big Artista Break”.
