Lorna Tolentino Doesn't Mind If Eula Caballero Is Billed Ahead Of Her In 'Third Eye'

AFTER ‘GLAMOROSA’ and her guest role in “Valiente”, Lorna Tolentino now has two new shows on TV5. She plays a journalist who acts as the host of each episode of the Sunday night suspense thriller that starts on July 29, “Third Eye”, and she’s one of the judges in “Artista Academy” that starts on July 30. Doesn’t she mind that its TV5’s homegrown star, Eula Caballero, who seems to be the lead character being the one with the Third Eye?

“Not at all,” she says. “Hindi naman ako basta support dito, as you’ll see when the show starts. At okay naman si Eula. She shows much promise, just like Ritz Azul who was with me naman in ‘Glamorosa’. Nagdaan sa reality search ang mga batang yan kaya nahasa na sila nang husto.”

Would she have joined an artista search like “Artista Academy” when she was a teener? “I started as a child star, the young Susan Roces in ‘Divina Gracia’ with the late FPJ. Nag-audition din ako noon. Sa ngayon, why not? I think it’s the best way to get into showbiz now kasi ang laki pa ng premyo. Dito sa TV5, P20 million, tapos aalagaan ka pa ng network.”

Her cousin, Zsa Zsa Padilla, is now a widow, just like her. What advice would she give to Zsa Zsa after Dolphy’s passing? “Just take it easy muna then go back to work. Ganun ang ginawa ko and it worked for me. The grief naman will not just go away, but you have to go on with your life. May ibang darating, like me, may apo na ko, lola na ko, and I’m enjoying it so much.”
