Edgar Allan Guzman Working Out To Have A Better Body For His Nude Scenes

EDGAR ALLAN GUZMAN says he and his manager, Noel Ferrer, are now in good terms after he promised to give more priority to his career than his lovelife. He’s now busy with TV5’s first eco-fantaserye, “Enchanted Garden”, and with the stage play, “Bona”, an adaptation of the 1980 movie starring Nora Aunor and Phillip Salvador.

“I’m really thankful sa dami ng blessings, including the best actor awards I won for ‘Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me’,” he says. “Sana magtuloy-tuloy lang.”

In “Enchanted Garden”, he lives in the fantasy world called Eden and Ruffa Gutierrez, an evil witch, orders him to kill Alex Gonzaga, a princess from Eden who was given away to the mortal world. But instead of killing Alex, he falls for her. In “Bona”, he reprises the Phillip Salvador role while Eugene Domingo plays Bona, his most devoted fan.

“In ‘Enchanted Garden’, shirtless ako most of the time, at sa ‘Bona’, I’ll appear in one scene naka-briefs lang. So I now work out para lumapad ang shoulders ko at mas lumaki ang katawan ko. Siempre, I’m nervous as I know I’d be compared to Kuya Ipe Salvador, so ngayon pa lang, I memorize all my lines na and really prepare para di ako mapahiya. Tapos, si Miss Uge pa ang kapareha ko, kaya dapat galingan ko talaga.”
