Ogie Alcasid Is Transformed Into A Woman In 'Daddy Dearest' Because Of Pauleen Luna

WE SAW OGIE Alcasid in character as “Boy Pick Up” on Sunday night at the premiere night. The next day we saw him again at the presscon of “Daddy Dearest” that will replace “Alice Bungisngis” in the 6 PM slot starting June 11. He plays a totally different role in this special Father’s Day presentation as a dad who becomes a mommy. As Bong, he’s married to Jolina Magdangal as Rose. On the first birthday of their daughter, Rose is hit by a car and dies. Ogie neglects his daughter, Daisy (Milkah Nacion of “Iglot”) and she grows up with a friend fairy in their garden, Winnie (Pauleen Luna). Since she hungers for a mom, she asks the fairy to turn her dad into a woman, so Ogie is slowly transformed into a woman.

“Although nagbababae ako sa ‘Bubble Gang’, first time akong gaganap sa ganitong role ng lalaking unti-unting nagiging babae,” says Ogie. “It’s a big challenge pala. Mas mahirap pa kay Boy Pickup.”
