Let's Pray For The Recovery Of Dolphy And Director Mario O'Hara

AS WE WRITE this, we’re told Comedy King Dolphy is currently in very critical condition, with his body organs not functioning as they should be. The outpouring of love and prayers for him on the internet is quite heart warming. It’s obvious the countless people he entertained either as Facifica Falayfay, Fefita Fofonggay or John Puruntong care for him very much. Although he’s not proclaimed as a National Artist, we and many other people consider him a true National Treasure.

Also in critical condition needing prayers is Director Mario O’Hara. As an actor, Mario is best known for two films helmed by his good friend, the late Lino Brocka: “Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang” where he plays a leper who falls in love with village madwoman Lolita Rodriguez and “Tubog sa Ginto” where he plays the closeted Eddie Garcia illicit lover. As a director, he’s best known for his films starring Nora Aunor: “Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos”, “Bakit Bughaw ang Langit”, “Kastilyong Buhangin” and “Condemned”. Let’s pray for his and Dolphy’s recovery.

We also want to condole with Isabel Oli (Olivia Daytia in real life) and her family for the passing of her dad, George Daytia, 74 years old, who’s been in coma for the past two months due to brain degeneration. Let’s pray for the repose of his soul.
