Angeline Quinto Willing To Take Dna Test With Woman Who Claims To Be Her Real Mom

FOLKS ASK us what’s the real score about Angeline Quinto’s debut flick, “Born to Love You”, since some say it made money and some say it didn’t so well. Well, since film companies here don’t really release actual box office receipts the way they do in Hollywood, we can only make a conjecture.

If Angeline and leading man Coco Martin get a follow up movie right away (the way the movies of Sarah Geronimo with John Lloyd Cruz and Gerald Anderson quickly got follow ups), then that can only mean their movie is really a big hit. We also heard that the movie’s cost of production is very high even if Coco and Angeline didn’t have astronomical talent fees, since it took some time (almost a year) before it was completed.

As for the movie itself, it starts as a typical Star Cinema rom-com where the two leads have a bad first meeting and fight a lot, but you know very well they’ll soon fall in love with one another. The movie ends as heavy drama, with the twist in the plot borrowed from the Hollywood romance, “Love Affair”, that has been filmed three times. First with Irene Dunne and Charles Boyer, then with Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant, then with Warren Beatty and Annette Benning. The most famous version is the Kerr-Grant film made in 1957. Unfortunately for Angeline and Coco, they’re no Deborah and Cary.

Angeline is in the news now. It’s common knowledge she’s just adopted by the family in Sampaloc who raised her. Several women have come forward claiming to be her real mom. The last one is somebody from Pampanga named Veronica and Angeline is willing to take the DNA test with her to prove once and for all if they’re really mother and daughter. Other celebs who had experiences with women claiming to be their real moms are Lorna Tolentino, Regine Velasquez and Kyla.
