Santiagos And Tulfos War Escalates With Court Cases

BECAUSE OF the public interest in the Santiago vs. Tulfo brouhaha, the ratings of TV news programs and the sales of tabloids went up. So far, Mon has already filed grave coercion and physical injury cases while the Santiagos faced the media in a presscon where they said they’ll file counter charges against Mon for physical violence against Claudine and the emotional violence experienced by their kids who saw Mon beating up their mom.

Raymart stressed he’s not the first one who resorted to physical violence. He said he was just asking Mon what what he’s doing and Mon quickly assaulted and kicked him. He added he was just protecting his wife and children.

Meantime, Mon’s younger brothers Raffy, Ben and Erwin made some threats against Raymart in their show “T3” on TV5. The public reacted against it, so Erwin later apologized on his radio show, “Punto Asuntado”, for making such threats, saying even their own mom didn’t like it as it’s conduct unbecoming of a broadcaster.

Mon himself said he scolded his brothers for behaving that way: “Maling-mali sila roon kaya pinagalitan ko sila. Nagsisisi sila. Nadala lang daw sila ng bugso ng damdamin.”
