Manny Pacquiao The Special Guest In 'The Road' Premiere Night In Hollywood

ALDEN RICHARDS made a special report on the successful red carpet premiere night of “The Road” in Hollywood’s Arclight Theatre on May 9. Both Filipino writers based in the U.S. and members of the international press covered the affair. Director Yam Laranas feels great with the positive feedback he got for the horror-drama that was reviewed in Variety and The New York Times. The stars of the show who were present at the premiere night like Alden, Rhian Ramos, Marvin Agustin and Derrick Monasterio were interviewed by both print media and TV.

Also present were GMA Films pres. Annette Gozon Abrogar, heads of Freestyle Releasing (the company that released the movie in North America) Susan Jackson and Mark Borde, GMA Films exec Joey Abacan, MTRCB Chari Grace Poe Llamanzares, GMA execs Marivin Arayata, Redgie Magno, Angela Cruz Javier and host Tim Yap. Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao also attended the premiere, after which they had an after party at the Lure. The movie is now showing cross-country in the US. It’s also being re-shown in some local theatres and opens today, May 15, in Singapore.
