Chynna Ortaleza Happy To Be Part Of 'Migrante' Shot In Holy Land

CHYNNA ORTALEZA started her showbiz career in 2001 as a member of the GMA-7 youth show, “Click”. “I was paired with Richard Gutierrez then at kasama namin si Angel Locsin as his sister paired with Railey Valeroso. But off cam, ang ka-on noon ni Angel was the late Miko Sotto. Eventually, kami ni Railey ang naging on. Ang tagal na namin.”

Have they talked about marriage? “Yes, but not seriously yet. I’ll be 30 na in December. Sabi ko, ayoko namang abutin ako ng 35 na di pa kami married. He went back to school after showbiz and he’s graduating this year sa business course niya sa Asia Pacific College. May business na rin siya supplying uniforms in some schools.”

Some folks say they’re already living in. “Naku, hindi po. We both come from conservative families. Siempre, gusto kong ikasal kami.”

Chynna plays villain to Camille Prats in “Luna Blanca” that starts airing on Monday after “24 Oras”. “Aagawin ko from her ang husband niya, si Raymart Santiago, with the help of Raymart’s own mom, Marissa Delgado, na ayaw kay Camille.”

She also just finished a new movie, “Migrante”, directed by Joel Lamangan and shot on location in Israel. “I play an OFW nurse who helps Jodi Sta. Maria nang magkakaso siya. We shot scenes in Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and other places in the Holy Land. I’m so proud of this movie as it shows the hardships of our OFW’s. Kasama rin namin dito sina Allen Dizon, Rich Asuncion and Bangs Garcia.”
