Alden Richards' Unforgettable Experiences In His First Trip Abroad To Attend 'The Road' Premiere

ALDEN RICHARDS still feels like he’s on cloud 9 after his one-week trip to Hollywood, his very first trip abroad. “Dream come true for me lahat ng nangyari,” he says. “Sa flight pa lang going there, first class kami nina Tita Marivin (Arayata) and Tita Redgie (Magno). Para kang nasa hotel habang nagbibiyahe. Pagdating namin doon, lahat VIP. Nang naglalakad ako sa red carpet sa premiere night ng ‘The Road’, I was teary eyed. Ganito pala ang feeling, I told myself. Something na I’ll never forget na for the rest of my life. Wala akong masasabi sa pag-aasikaso at pag-aalaga sa amin ng GMA while we were there. Sasandali kami pero nakagala kami sa tatlong theme parks: Disneyland, Universal Studios and Magic Mountain. Grabe sa saya and I’m so thankful sa GMA at sa ‘The Road’ director namin, si Yam Laranas, for making me a part of the movie. Talagang pati reviews doon ng L.A. Times and New York Times, puro positive. I feel so proud at sana nga, maipalabas pa sa ibang mga bansa ang ‘The Road’.”

He’s now back in “My Beloved” as the brother of Dingdong Dantes. But it’ll soon end and it’s said it’ll be replaced by a new soap where he and Louise de los Reyes will play the lead roles, with Agot Isidro, Jean Garcia and Raymond Bagatsing supporting them. It’s said the title is either “One True Love” or “Sumpa Ko’y Iibigin Ka.”
