He’s the one who personally requested to be a co-host in PBB. “My contract with ABS expired last January and they gave me to the unit of Direk Lauren Dyogi. He asked what I want to do and I said I want to try hosting PBB. Na-in love talaga ako sa hosting when I was doing ‘Happy Yippe Yehey’ and also, ‘Banana Split’. I realized ito pala talaga ang gusto ko. So heto, binigay naman nila sa’kin. And I’m glad kasi the housemates this season are really interesting at makukulay ang buhay so masarap i-host.”
He was part of the PBB Celebrity Edition 1. What did he gain from being a housemate? “When I got out of Kuya’s house, I felt mas nakilala na ko ng tao while I was a housemate so I became more confident to express myself. Nawala ang inhibitions ko.”
He no longer hides that he’s going steady with former beauty queen Bianca Manalo, after he broke up with Rachel Anne Go. How does Bianca feel that he’s now a PBB host? “Very supportive siya. Sobrang proud siya sa’kin at sa ginagawa ko.” Read, Rachelle Ann Go on John Prats.
What if there’s a PBB couples edition? Would he and Bianca join it? “Okay lang sa’min yun basta magkasama kami. Kalog siya, masaya siyang kasama so I’m sure we’ll enjoy each other’s company inside Kuya’s house.” Any plans of settling down soon? “Naku, wala. Malayo pa yun. We’re okay as we are now.”
