Is Sam Milby Giving Up On His Pursuit To Have A Career In Hollywood Or Broadway?

IS IT TRUE Sam Milby is giving up his ambition to make it big in the U.S.? We heard he’s coming home to do a new soap for ABS-CBN. We’re actually confused as to where Sam is trying his luck in the U.S. Is it in New York on Broadway or in California on Hollywood films and TV shows?

Well, he’s not the first one who tried to cultivate a career in the U.S., but nothing has happened so far. Before him, there’s Giselle Tongi (now also back in Manila and doing mother roles as the mom of David Archuleta in TV5’s “Nandito Ako”), Cesar Montano, Antoinette Taus. But really, there’s no harm in trying.

So far, the only local celebs who succeeded in doing Broadway shows, movies and TV shows is Lea Salonga, but even she admits it’s so hard to sustain a career there. Charice did get to appear on several live TV shows and did two episodes of the hit “Glee” while Apple de Ap and Arnell Pineda succeeded as frontman of Black Eyed Peas and Journey. Let’s see if their careers in the U.S. would continue to soar and prosper.
