Bea Binene Now Has More Shows On GMA-7 Than Rival Barbie Forteza

BEA BINENE is now given the chance to do hosting as she handles her own infotainment-educational segment in the GMA-7’s early morning show, “Unang Hirit”. This is definitely her edge over her rival, Barbie Forteza, and the fact that she has a hit regular soap, “Alice Bungisngis and Her Magic Walis”, on top of her being in “Tween Hearts” and “Party Pilipinas”. Barbie has not been given a new soap after “Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin” and her newest assignment is a weekly sitcom with Marian Rivera, “Tweets for My Sweet”, where she’s paired with Elmo Magalona.

“Alice Bungisngis” continues to be unbeatable in the ratings simply not only because Wally the Walis is truly lovable but due to good plotting about the battle between good and evil. Bea as Alice represents the good while Jean Garcia as the witch Esmeralda stands for evil. This week, Alice’s real mom, Andeng (Anna Roces), finally gets to see the birthmark on Alice to prove that she’s her missing daughter. Esmeralda continues to pursue Alice and holds her father, Hilario (Janno Gibbs), hostage in the orphanage.
