Tirso Cruz III Goes To Tv5'S 'Valiente' Now That 'Budoy' On Abs-Cbn Has Ended

NOW THAT ‘Budoy’ has ended on ABS-CBN, where he played a doctor, Tirso Cruz III has consented to do “Valiente” on TV5. He was part of the original “Valiente” on GMA-7 playing Theo Braganza, now played by Oyo Sotto.

“I’ll just be a guest, then I go back to ABS for another new show,” he says. “Lalabas ako for four weeks as Don Luis. I will be the one to help JC De Vera as Gardo in his fight against the abusive Donya Trining, played by Jaclyn Jose.”

With his appearance in the show, it will be a reunion for him and for Michael de Mesa, who played the original Gardo, and who now plays JC’s dad. Other additions to the “Valiente” cast is James Blanco as Joel, a rich young man who becomes the boyfriend of Nadine Samonte as Maila; Ramon Christopher as Miguel Magno, a wily politician who’ll be Jaclyn’s political opponent when she runs as mayor; Toby Alejar as Vincent Lee, a wealthy Chinese businessman who becomes Jaclyn’s ally; and Roxanne Guinoo as Elaine, the daughter of Toby who is forced to marry Oyo Sotto in an arranged marriage.
