Former Pinoy Dream Academy Contestant Bea Munoz Now A Chef & Resto Owner

THE FORQUE, the restaurant on Pasay Road where the lunch with Bianca King and Rocco Nacino was held, is owned by Bea Munoz, a former Pinoy Dream Academy contestant. She’s best remembered as the girlfriend then of Miguel Mendoza. She comes from a rich family in Ayala Alabang who didn’t approve of her joining the show.

She and Miguel eventually broke up. She went back to school and took up culinary arts then worked as a chef in an island off Florida owned by former U.S. Pres. George Bush, Boca Grande. “I cooked for dignitaries, public officials and rich retirees,” she says. “I was a sous chef when I decided to return to Manila last year as my family missed me. I invested all my earnings in putting up Forque.”

She’s now seven months preggy, but she’s not married. “The dad has left me. He doesn’t want to recognize our baby girl. Bahala siya. It’s his loss.”
