Bb Gandanghari Won't Answer If She Has Had A Sex Change Operation

BB GANDANGHARI looks so thin when interviewed by sister in law Mariel Rodriguez (not by Zoren Legaspi as earlier reported) in “Paparazzi”. She said she has to lose weight because the modelling agency where she applied as an androgynous (male-female) model (said to be in vogue in New York today) didn’t accept her for being overweight. So from being 140 lbs., she had to lose 25 lbs. and is now only 115 lbs. through workouts and rigid dieting.

“Mukha naman siyang tuyot sa sobrang kapayatan,” says one writer. “Pati buhok, parang di inayos ng mabuti.”

She says she doesn’t mind working with ex-wife Carmina Villaroel (their marriage was officially annulled in 2002). “Pero mas maganda kung mag-uusap muna kami. I want to see her first and take it from there.”

What does she think would be Carmina’s reaction upon seeing her? “I don’t know yet. I’m a polarizing person. Either you love or you hate me.”

When asked if she had a sex change operation, BB didn’t give a straightforward answer. She just said whatever it is that’s between her legs is just for herself and her future partner. It’s obvious she hasn’t undergone such an operation, as it’s so easy to say yes if she did. But she told Mariel she’s not against such sex change operation.

When asked if her whole family has accepted her as she is now, she just said “no comment”. So it’s easy to conclude that the answer is on the contrary. She declared that she has never been surer of herself and she’s definitely more happy nowadays. She asked people to just take her for what she is as she doesn’t really care for those who don’t agree with her choices in life.

“If you regard me as a man, that’s your thing. But as far as I‘m concerned, kung para sa `yo, kailangang ipakita ko pa sa`yo para irespeto ang pagkababae ko, problema mo na yan.”
