Kathryn Bernardo And Julia Montes Of 'Mara Clara' To Be Separated From Each Other

KATHRYN BERNARDO of “Mara Clara” fame is glad that ABS-CBN allowed her to do the “Parola” episode in Regal’s “Shake, Rattle & Roll 13”. “Nag-enjoy po ako working with Louise de los Reyes of GMA-7 at walang naging ilangan sa’min kahit magkaiba kami ng network dahil madali naman siyang pakisamahan,” she says. “I really want to be a part of this movie kasi parang tradition na ito pag Pasko, di ba? I don’t usually watch horror movies kasi matatakutin ako, duwag, but I will surely watch ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll 13’ kasi naghirap kami nang husto in shooting this.”

She and Louise play friends who go to an old lighthouse not knowing it’s inhabited by evil spirits who then haunt them and want to see them dead. “There’s one scene na ako mismo, natakot nang husto while doing it. May mga nahuhulog na uod at tumatama sa amin. Kadiri. Tapos, naglaban ang masasamang espiritu. It’s a very physical scene at nahirapan talaga kami’t nagkapasa-pasa. But I’m proud nagawa namin yun as I’m sure it’ll be successful in scaring viewers.”

Also in their episode are Ara Mina, Ina Raymundo, Dimples Romana, Julia Clarete, Sam Concepcion and Hiro Magalona. On TV, Kathryn is part of ABS-CBN’s “Growing Up” on Sunday. When this ends, she and ‘Mara Clara’ co-star Julia Montes will be separated from each other. She’ll star in “You’re Always in My Heart” with Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla and ‘Pinoy Got Talent 3’ runnerup Khalil Ramos who has more fans than the winner, Maasinhon Trio, so he now also has an acting career. Julia will be in “Walang Hanggan” with Coco Martin. “I’m sure Julia and I will miss each other dahil ang tagal naming nagkasama. But it’ll be healthy for our careers to also work separately. Di naman puedeng lagi na lang kami magkasama.”
