Munting Heredera extended until New Year

“WE’RE EXTENDED until the second week of January 2012,” Direk Maryo J. de los Reyes happily tells us about “Munting Heredera”. “So may trabaho kaming lahat ng buong cast until after Christmas and New Year. Bale aabutin ng seven months ang whole run ng show and it’s all because our loyal viewers make it number one on primetime. Kaya lang, there’s an old woman who learned about the extension and she told me na gusto na raw niya makita ang ending ng pagbubunyag kung sino ang tunay na munting heredera as she’s already so weak at baka hindi na raw siya umabot sa January 2012. I told her we’ll all pray for her. Ang daming bagong characters na pumasok sa show, like Bobby Andrews and Andrea del Rosario as a married couple na may anak na may cerebal palsy, parang yung role ni Isabella de Leon in ‘Magnifico’. For this show, I got a boy who’s really afflicted with cerebral palsy. His name is Monmon and I once saw him in a noontime show at pinahanap ko. Nagulat ako, nakakaarte siya in spite of his condition. He can take directions from me.”
