CLAUDINE BARRETTO looks peaceful and serene at the presscon of her first primetime series on GMA-7, “Iglot”, that starts airing on Monday after “24 Oras”.
“That’s because I count my blessings at talagang very thankful ako sa sobrang blessings na natatanggap ko,” she says. “I have a wonderful husband and children, my fans continue to support me, my dad had a heart attack two weeks ago but he has recovered now, bati na uli kami ng sister ko (Gretchen) ko, I love this new show I’m doing, what more can I ask for? Wala na talaga.”
She can ask her detractors to stop fabricating rumors about her, like her supposed rocky marriage. “Nakakairita yun pero hindi na lang namin pinapansin ng husband ko kasi alam naman namin ang totoo. The important thing is we love each other, we’re still together, so we don’t let the rumors affect us.”
How is the new child actress who plays her missing daughter in ‘Iglot’, Milkcah Nacion? “She’s very talented. Gustong-gusto ko siya. I believe viewers will fall in love with her easily when they watch ‘Iglot’.”
