Bea Binene on appearing with Azkals in Tween Academy

AZKAL TRAINEE Mark McMahon was at final presscon of “Tween Academy : Class of 2012” and was paired with Yassi Pressman when they were presented to the press. He’s part of the movie, making a cameo appearance along with Azkals Ally Borromeo, Ian Araneta and Chiefy Caligdong. Mark is now also a contract artist of GMA Artist Center. In the movie, they’ll be seen playing football with Bea Binene, the most athletic member of the Tween Barkada, to the tune of the film’s main theme, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”.

How’s Mark’s experience appearing in his first movie? “It’s good,” he says. “The Azkals appeared in the movie to inspire the kids out there to play football. We enjoyed it. Now, I also enjoy the company of the other cast members and having fun with them.”

And how is Bea in football? “She kicks the ball very well. She can play football well.”

Did Bea enjoy being with the Azkals? “I did. Marami kong natutuhan. And I’m sure maraming nainggit sa’kin as I know marami silang fans. Chance na nila ito to see their idols on the big screen.”
