Stephanie Henares shares blessing on her birthday

STEPHANIE HENARES is happy that her initially foray into acting as Valerie in “Machete” got generally positive feedback. Now, she’s raring to get more acting jobs. “You get a different kind of satisfaction from it compared to hosting and modelling,” she says. “I wish I would be given meatier roles.”

When she celebrated her birthday last month, she decided to spend it with 40 kid patients at the National Children’s Hospital arranged by Kythe Foundation. She had lunch with them and their parents as sponsored by McDonald’s, and also played and prayed with them for their healing. She also prepared gifts for them. “I feel I’m already so blessed so it’s time to share it with needy. My ministry and I prayed for each kid and the overall experience is just awesome as I saw how God provided for the kids’ own spiritual awakening.”

Steph is now doing her first indie film, “Ang Paglipad ng Anghel”, paired with Sid Lucero.
