“Maestra” stars Agot Isidro as a public school teacher who raised her only son, Rocco, all by herself until he finished law and joined politics. She teaches night school and one of her students is the school janitor, Dennis Trillo. They become close as they have many things in common. Both lost their loved ones early in their lives and became breadwinners. Their relationship leads to some complications and raises issues about friendship, happiness and love. Also starring in “Maestra” are Andrea Torres and Erika Padilla.
