We conduct readings based on the actual script. Kylie is really outstanding and her new leading man, Frank Magalona, last minute lang nag-audition and it’s the first time he did, but he surprised us. He’s a natural. If his brother Elmo is the rapper in their family, he’s the actor, so kinuha agad namin. Jackie naman is really ripe for stardom and ‘Sisid’ is the perfect vehicle for her. Na-delay lang ang show as she didn’t know pala how to swim, so we have to train her first. The three new girls in ‘Munting Heredera’ were also recruited from auditions. We’ve noticed that malakas sa viewers yung shows na may bata and this one has not only one but three new kids who viewers will fall in love with. We’re also so happy we got the well loved Gloria Romero to play their grandma. This is her first drama series with us. Marami pang bagong shows na dapat abangan sa GMA. In June, we have ‘Jump’, the new danceserye led by Mark Herras and in July, we have a new artista search, ‘The Protegee’, to be hosted by Dingdong Dantes.”
