Bea Binene has no stunt double in Captain Barbell

BEA BINENE feels relieved that she’s on vacation from school these days. “Kundi, mahihirapan ako as I’m taping both for ‘Tween Hearts’ and ‘Captain Barbell’,” she says. “Bale dalawa ang role ko in ‘Captain Barbell’. As an ordinary girl, I’m Misha. When I transform to a superhero, I become Blade Girl. Kapatid ko rito si Mike Tan who plays Teban. When he transforms, nagiging bad guy siya, si Anino, who has the power to pass through walls. Magiging magkalaban kami as I’m with the forces of the good guys at siya naman, sa mga kalaban namin. One of the highlights of the show is our fight scene as Blade Girl and Anino without us knowing na magkapatid pala kami. I'm so happy with my action role as I get to use my knowledge of wushu. All the fight scenes and stunts here, ako mismo ang gumagawa, walang double."
