“It’s a blessing to be a part of a big project like ‘Imortal’,” she says. “We’re supposed to run for 26 weeks but since it’s a hit, it was extended to 30 weeks and now, it’s about to end. It’s one of the most memorable shows I’ve ever done. All the action scenes, pinaghirapan namin as we have no doubles in our stunt. Is she and Azkal’s Phil Younghusband now playing beautiful music together? “We’ve gone out but only as friends. Right now, I’m just so busy to focus on anything else. Right after the film with Aga, I’m starting the 20th anniversary presentation of ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’, a new movie with Bea Alonzo and me, directed by Lauren Dyogi to be shown in September. Then there’s also a project that I will do in Indonesia with Indonesian actors.”
