Victor Basa living in with model Divine Lee

WE WERE surprised when we saw Victor Basa at the launch of TV5’s “Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak” as we know he’s an ABS-CBN Star Magic talent. “Nagpaalam ako sa kanila nang maayos that I’ll do this with TV5 as I need to work at pumayag naman sila kasi matagal na silang walang regular work for me after I played the role of a priest in ‘May Bukas Pa’,” he says. “I have to practice my craft para di naman ako kalawangin.”

He’s still managed by Jonas Gaffud of Mercator Agency and he doesn’t mind having more projects with TV5. “I play a good role in ‘Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak’ as Marco, a mama’s boy na anak ni Jean Saburit,” he says. “There’s a surprise element in my character as it’ll be revealed na anak pala ako ng isa sa major male leads in the story. Ako rin ang love interest ni Arci Munoz as Dahlia and we have a love scene.”

It’s common knowledge he’s now living together with model Divine Lee. Doesn’t she get jealous? “She understands my work and she’s supportive.”

Do they have plans of tying the knot? “Wala pa. I want to save muna and make sure na more stable na ako. I’m just happy and feel lucky now that may nagmamahal sa’kin like Divine.”
