Solenn Heusaff host a make-up reality show and agreed to pose for FHM

SOLEEN HEUSSAFF is busy in acting and hosting. She plays a balikbayan reporter (ala-Lois Lane) looking for her mom in the return of “Captain Barbell” on GMA-7. She also hosts “Fashbook”, a make over reality show on Wednesdays at 10 PM and Saturdays at 11 PM on GMA News TV Channel 11. “I feel so blessed as I never asked for this, but now I’m acting and hosting at the same time,” she says. “But I haven’t given up my job as a designer for Lulu Tan Gan and I’m also not giving up my painting. At least, when showbiz is done with me, I still have my designing and painting to go back to.” All her answers were lies when she guested in Showbiz Central, making viewers say she’s a confirmed liar. “I was telling the truth! It’s the machine that is the liar. I was really so kabado even before the segment started. My heart was thumping so fast, so I guess even if I gave the opposite answers, it would still come out as lies.” How did she feel when reviews of “My Valentine Girls” said Lovi Poe is better than her in the acting department? “I wasn’t hurt as it’s true. I’m expecting that. When we did our scene together na nasa wheelchair siya, I was in awe kasi she’s really good. I hope to be as good as her eventually.”

She loves watching foreign make over shows so she’s glad to host “Fashbook”. “Our edge is we just don’t improve on the physical aspect of the person with the help of make up artist Jigz Mayuga and stylist Eric Poliquit. We also have a life coach, Miss A, our psychologist in ‘Survivor Philippines’ who’ll guide our guest to make better decisions in life. People can email us at fashbook@gmanetwork.com or on our Facebook page so we can give them a makeover inside and out. I myself had a make over kasi I was so fat when I was 13 and my classmates call me a whale, Free Willy, and I’d cry. It hurt my self esteem a lot. But now, I've agreed to pose for FHM Magazine. They wouldn't get me naman siguro if I'm fat. So far, we’ve had three guests in 'Fashbook': a single mom with two kids, a real life Betty La Fea, and a fat drummer who’s so shy. Watch us as we transform them and they gain more self confidence.”
