Rhian Ramos doesn't get any advice from BF DJ Mo on hosting

RHIAN RAMOS is now seen daily on GMA News TV Channel 11 in the showbiz newscast “In the Limelight” at 7:30PM. “I’m excited about it as I like hosting and I enjoy working with the GMA News & Public Affairs team after I did ‘Puso ng Pasko’ with them as they work so hard,” she says. Will she interview live guests also? “Yes and I promise to be proper. I don’t want to be a hypocrite and ask questions that I myself won’t answer. I want to be a credible host and not just one who’d intrude into the private lives of stars.”

Any tips from her BF DJ Mo? “None. He knows I can do this in my own style. He just told me I’d be excited about the details on people I know, but there’ll come a time when I’d prefer that I don’t really know that much since they’re my friends.” She’s only 20. Won’t her youth work against her? “I don’t think it’s my age that would work against me but my mindset, kasi I’m not really much of a chismosa. I’m not the type who’d feel a dying need to know much about chismis. But I’m cultivating that so that I can have a real good nose for news.”

She’ll be aided by Nelson Canlas and Aubrey Carampel in gathering the latest chikas about celebrities. Any new show or film? “I’m in the pilot of the new Captain Barbell. I’ll be the bridge between Parts 1 and 2. I’m also doing ‘Panday 2’ playing a new role. I’m also glad that ‘My Valentine Girls’ is extended pa rin. I get tweets from people saying they’ve seen it again and again at maganda pa rin daw.”
